We may be able to take some entries on the day if we have availability, however, please note most of our events sell out so please be mindful as we do have to limit entries due to running times for the venue.
Please dress warm with comfortable shoes we do have some room for you to put camping chairs around arena inside and lots of room outside. Please bring chairs as we have limited ones available at this venue.
We will have a Tuck shop selling snacks and drinks but please feel free to bring your own and use bins to put rubbish in as this is a working yard with Horses in attendance.
Entries will close on 1st April.
Approx times for classes will be emailed across on the 2nd April and any more information you will need for us all to enjoyed a fun day of Hobby Horse activities.
1- 20CM All cross poles
2 - 30CM - Show jumping over a course of jumps with the poles set at this height. Clear round followed by timed jump off.
3 - 40CM - As above, poles set at height of 40cm
4 – 50CM – As Above, poles set at height of 50cm
5 - 40CM PAIRS - each child needs to enter to run in relay, one after the other in a race around the jumping course fastest combined time wins
6 - 60CM - Advanced jumping as classes
7 - ACCUMULATOR - 30 seconds to race around assorted jumps / obstacles collecting points.
8. Puissance – Jump our FAMOUS red wall the first red wall in the UK to be seen at prestigious venues all over the country and jumped by iconic celebrities.
(One jump that increases in height each time the competitor jumps over it, once they knock the jump they are out of the class and are given a big round of applause and then stand aside and cheer the other competitors along) The last person left in will receive a special rosette for winning this class. Every person taking part wins a rosette saying they jumped the iconic Wall with us!
9 - GRAND NATIONAL - Groups of 4 children race around arena over jumps to get medals! Every child will receive a medal regardless of time if they clear all the jumps – max jump height 30cm
10 – Easter Fancy Dress, dress your hobby horse up and yourself if you want to! It is not compulsory to dress up yourself however to enter this class you must at least dress your Hobby Horse up. Every child will receive an easter egg for this class and the top 3 will receive a Rosettes…

Certificates; -
Every child who competes with us will receive a certificate and qualify for the prestigious Hobby Horse of the year show held in the UK every November.
Digital Timer:
We will be using a digital timer for the rounds so that the times are visible to all taking part and we are all able to keep an eye on the leader board.
Leader Board:
We will make a note after every round of the top 10 so we can see through the competition as to who is in the lead and in the top ten on our famous leader board
Awards:
Classes 1 ,2 & 7, will be split into 2 age groups 8 and under and 9 and under for awards!
Rosettes and Discount Equestrian Voucher for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place and well done rosettes for all for each class you take part in, Lemieux Goodie bag for 1st place!!
Classes 3, 4, 5, 6 no age restrictions in these classes.

Classes 9 - Everybody will receive a medal for taking part regardless of speed. As long as they jump every jump, all jumps will be no bigger than 30cm
Class 10 - Everybody will receive a well done rosette in this classes and the Winner will win a Lemieux Goodie bag and a 1st place Rosette
