We are looking forward to bringing our exciting Hobby Horse Competition to this premium indoor arena (with a lovely café) for the very first time! 🏇

Expect a full day of fun-filled activities and thrilling races – whether you’re a total beginner, a seasoned jumper, or a fan of fancy dress, there’s something here for every hobby horse enthusiast! 💖🎉

🧡 Everyone’s welcome – including children with any range of disability or neurodiversity. We’re always happy to help make things easier – just ask! 😊

 

🕙 Event Timings

10am – Check in, collect your rider number and warm up! Parents can grab a coffee and chill near the food van (bring camp chairs). 🍔🌭

🏅 Ring 1 – Jumping Fun
1. 30cm Show Jumping – Clear round timed jump-off
2. 40cm Show Jumping – Same course, a little taller!
3. 50cm Pairs – Relay style with a friend 👫
4. 60cm Advanced – Test your skills! 💪
5. Accumulator – Dash around and collect points in 30 seconds ⏱️
6. Grand National – Teams of 4 race to win medals! 🏇🏅

🎭 Ring 2 – Creative & Speedy Challenges
7. Best Turned Out – Style your pony! Optional rider costume too 👗🎀
8. Mounted Games – Obstacle madness – how fast can you go? ⛳🏃‍♀️
9. Scurrying – Two riders, one pole, twisty course = teamwork magic! 🤝
10. Barrel Racing – Classic cloverleaf race around barrels 🌀
11. Chase Me, Charlie – One jump gets higher each go. Will you make it? 🔥
12. Dressage – Freestyle to music or ask for a test – show us your flair! 🎶🕺
